About BarryGuard

Our Mission

BarryGuard exists to make Solana trading safer. Every day, hundreds of new tokens launch on Solana — many of them rug pulls, honeypots, or insider-controlled schemes designed to steal from unsuspecting traders. We built BarryGuard so that anyone, from first-time buyers to experienced DeFi traders, can assess a token's risk before putting money in.

Our approach is simple: analyze what is actually happening on-chain, not what project creators claim. We run 21 automated on-chain checks across contract security, market structure, and behavioral patterns — then distill the results into a single readable risk score from 1 to 99.

The Company

BarryGuard is built and operated by Zivcore, based in Dallikon, Switzerland (Canton Zurich). We chose Switzerland as our home for a reason — the country's reputation for precision, reliability, and strong data protection aligns with the kind of product we want to build.

Our infrastructure runs on Swiss and European standards. We process only public blockchain data — we never ask for your private keys, we never access your wallet, and we never sell your data.

What BarryGuard Does

BarryGuard provides real-time risk analysis for Solana tokens. When you submit a token address or visit a supported platform, BarryGuard runs 21 individual checks grouped into three categories:

• Contract Checks (6): Mint authority, freeze authority, liquidity lock status, update authority, honeypot simulation, and LP creator match. These detect whether the token creator retains dangerous permissions.
• Market Structure Checks (7): Top holder concentration, holder count, token age, liquidity depth, bonding curve status, price impact, and liquidity ratio. These assess whether the market around the token is healthy or artificially inflated.
• Behavior Checks (8): Developer history, insider network detection, bundle detection, early dump analysis, sniper bot dominance, metadata legitimacy, creator wallet age, and creator retention. These reveal whether the people behind the token are acting in good faith.

Each check produces a score. The weighted average of all 21 checks gives a total risk score, plus three subscores — one per category. The final result comes with a risk level: Danger, High, Caution, Moderate, or Low.

You can use BarryGuard in two ways: through our web checker at barryguard.com/check, or through our Chrome browser extension that shows risk overlays directly on platforms like pump.fun, DexScreener, and Birdeye.

Why “Barry”?

BarryGuard is named after Barry, the most famous Saint Bernard rescue dog in history. Barry lived at the Great St Bernard Hospice in the Swiss Alps in the early 1800s and is credited with saving over 40 lives from avalanches and snowstorms. His preserved body stands in the Natural History Museum of Bern to this day.

The Saint Bernard breed embodies calm, reliable protection — they don't panic, they don't chase, they simply find you in the storm and guide you to safety. That is exactly what BarryGuard does for Solana traders: it calmly analyzes the on-chain data, identifies the dangers, and presents you with a clear assessment so you can make an informed decision.

Our Values

• Transparency: Our browser extension is open-source. Our scoring methodology is publicly documented. We explain exactly what each check does and how scores are calculated. We believe that a security tool you cannot verify is a security tool you should not trust.
• Privacy: BarryGuard analyzes public blockchain data only. We never request wallet access, private keys, or seed phrases. Our extension reads token addresses from pages you visit on supported platforms — nothing else. See our privacy policy for full details.
• Reliability: We run on Swiss and European infrastructure with multiple RPC providers for redundancy. Our analysis results are cached and served fast. We aim for consistent, accurate results — not flashy features that break under load.
• Honesty: BarryGuard provides risk indicators, not investment advice. A low-risk score does not mean a token is safe to buy. A high-risk score does not mean it will definitely rug. We present the data — you make the decision.
