Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of the BarryGuard website, API and associated account features.

1. Scope
These terms apply to the use of the BarryGuard website, API and associated account features. By registering or using the service you accept these terms.
2. Service Description
BarryGuard provides risk indicators for tokens across supported chains (Solana, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Base) based on on-chain data and internal scoring rules. BarryGuard does not constitute investment advice, a purchase recommendation or a guarantee of the safety of any token.
The browser extension may, when that feature is enabled, send anonymized technical signals to BarryGuard solely to maintain overlay reliability; this does not change the scoring methodology or constitute personalized tracking.
3. User Account
Users are responsible for keeping their credentials confidential. Accounts must not be misused, shared or used for unlawful purposes. BarryGuard may restrict or suspend accounts in the event of misuse or security incidents.
Accounts whose email address has never been confirmed are automatically deleted after 30 days. This applies only to unconfirmed accounts, not to confirmed users.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
Paid plans are billed as recurring Stripe subscriptions. Prices, billing intervals and included features are as published on the pricing page. Cancellations, upgrades and downgrades are handled via the Stripe Customer Portal or the account features provided in the application.
BarryGuard offers a one-time 30-day free trial for the Rescue Pass monthly plan. A valid payment method is required at the start of the trial. If the trial is not cancelled before the end of the 30-day period, the subscription automatically converts to a paid plan and the stored payment method is charged at the regular rate. Each user is eligible for one free trial only.
BarryGuard also accepts crypto payments (SOL and USDC on Solana). Crypto subscriptions are prepaid for 30 days and do not auto-renew. Refunds are not available for crypto payments. The exchange rate between CHF and the selected cryptocurrency is locked at the time of payment intent creation. Any subsequent exchange rate fluctuations are borne by the user. Payment confirmation requires on-chain transaction finalization on the Solana network.
Abnormal crypto payments. If a payment is sent in the wrong amount (under- or overpayment), sent twice, or sent after the checkout window has closed, BarryGuard will not automatically refund or credit the difference. Such cases are routed into a manual recovery queue and handled on a case-by-case basis by our support team. To request recovery, contact support with your transaction signature. BarryGuard retains the ability to identify payments sent to our generated wallets indefinitely, so no payment is ever forgotten — but the final decision about any compensation is a manual, discretionary act and does not constitute a product guarantee.
5. Promotional Listings
Paid Placements. BarryGuard offers promotional listings that allow registered users to increase the visibility of a token on supported chains. Promotions are paid placements and clearly marked as such.
Score Independence. The BarryGuard safety score is calculated independently and is not influenced by promotional status.
Promo-Credits. Promotions are paid for using Promo-Credits purchased in predefined packages via credit card or cryptocurrency. Promo-Credits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Promo-Credits do not expire.
Eligibility. A token must have a score of 55 or higher to be eligible. BarryGuard may pause or terminate a promotion if the score drops below 50.
Automatic Pause. If a promoted token's score drops below 50, the promotion is automatically paused. No credits are consumed during a pause.
No Guarantee. Promotional placement does not guarantee any specific number of views, clicks, or outcomes.
Termination. BarryGuard reserves the right to remove any promotion at its sole discretion. No refund of Promo-Credits will be issued.
MwSt./VAT. Prices are inclusive of applicable VAT. The applicable VAT treatment is determined according to the legally relevant purchase event and documented accordingly.
6. Availability and Changes
BarryGuard strives for maximum availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Features, limits and prices may be adjusted for valid business reasons.
7. Automated Social Media Posting
BarryGuard may automatically publish warnings about high-risk tokens on social media platforms (currently X / Twitter). These posts are generated from public on-chain data and BarryGuard risk assessments. They do not constitute investment advice. BarryGuard makes no guarantee regarding the completeness or accuracy of automated posts and accepts no liability for decisions made based on them.
8. Third-Party Services
BarryGuard relies on external service providers to deliver the service. By using BarryGuard, the user acknowledges that data necessary for the respective service may be processed by these providers under their own terms and privacy policies:

BarryGuard accepts no liability for scoring gaps or data availability limitations caused by the failure of third-party APIs. Risk scores may be temporarily incomplete when external data providers are unavailable.
Details on the data processing, retention and legal basis for each provider are described in the Privacy Policy. BarryGuard is not responsible for outages, data handling or content of third-party services beyond its own reasonable control.
9. Disclaimer of Liability
BarryGuard provides technical risk assessments without warranty of completeness, accuracy or timeliness. Decisions to buy, sell or hold tokens rest solely with the user. Liability for direct or indirect financial losses is excluded to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
10. General Provisions
Swiss law governs these terms. Should any individual provision be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
